At seventeen, Red Gerard became the youngest Winter Olympic champion since 1928. The gold medal belonged to Red, but the story had always been bigger than one person. The film returned that historic win to the family that first put him on a snowboard, gave him the freedom to become fearless and experienced the victory as something they had all shared.

Since then, Red has competed in two more Olympics and won back-to-back X Games slopestyle titles.
