When Park Stories filmed Matt Boling at nineteen, he had already announced himself as one of the most exciting track prospects in the world. Before college, he ran a wind-aided 9.98 seconds in the 100 meters, then the fastest performance ever recorded by a high-school athlete. He also won multiple Texas state championships and four gold medals at the U20 Pan American Championships.

Prodigy focused on the discipline, belief and people behind those performances, and why everyone close to Matt had learned the same lesson: never bet against him. He went on to become a two-time NCAA champion and a two-time world champion as part of U.S. relay teams.
