Across seven cities, five states and two countries, The Path followed twelve elite young basketball players from their first gathering in New York through training camps in Atlanta and California, and on to a final test against professionals at adidas Eurocamp in Treviso. Across four episodes, travel, competition and pressure turned individual ambition into a team.

Nine of the twelve players went on to reach the NBA, including No. 1 pick and two-time All-Star Zion Williamson, No. 5 pick and two-time All-Star Darius Garland, first-round picks Immanuel Quickley and Quentin Grimes, and Naz Reid, who went undrafted but became NBA Sixth Man of the Year.
