Sylvester Turner became Houston's 62nd mayor in January of 2016. A year and a half later, his city was devastated by Hurricane Harvey, which caused $125 billion in damage. It also displaced a a huge number of the city's residents and made life incredibly difficult for thousands of others. Microsoft tapped us to create a film that illustrated how Mayor Turner, the City of Houston, and Microsoft teamed up to leverage IoT technology in the wake of that natural disaster, and move one of the most diverse cities in American toward a safe and prosperous future.
